Hey, there World Race fam! As you might have seen up above, 3,428 DOLLARS HAS BEEN FUNDRAISED!!! Guys! That is 3,428 dollars closer to the 15,800 dollar goal , which is 3,428 dollars closer to me being able to travel to Guatemala, Ecuador, and Nepal to be a vessel in growing the kingdom within those nations. Wow! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I appreciate every person that has supported me by donating, participating in fundraisers, or lifting me up in prayer. I am not able to do this on my own. You have no idea how much your support means to me, as well as the huge impact it will have on my calling.

In this blog, I wanted to talk a little more about fundraising and what it has been like this past couple of months. Fundraising is not easy. Fundraising takes time, commitment, and a consistent drive. With only these couple months of fundraising, I have had many highs and lows, but I consistently have seen how good and gracious our God is; 3,428 dollars happens to be the proof of it.

This fall semester has been crazy! As mentioned before, fundraising takes time, and time was not something I had much of…so I thought. I learned a big lesson this past semester. I learned that sometimes it’s not a matter of “I don’t have enough time” but a “this isn’t a priority in my life”. This lesson was something that effected my relationship with God, my relationships with others, and my own personal life. I saw multiple important areas in my life where things became an “I don’t have enough time for ….” when in reality I wasn’t prioritizing them. If I’m being real here, fundraising fell into that group of “I don’t have enough time for it”. When God brought this to my attention, I made some rearranging in my schedule. I had to sit down and evaluate what in my life was a priority, and what in it wasn’t. I was able to fit fundraising into my schedule, but it definitely wasn’t as much time as I needed nor wanted to be investing in it. (it seriously was all that I could do). I know with no doubt, that God saw the efforts of my heart. So much of that 3,428 dollars was people just donating money, simply because they felt God was telling them to. That blows my mind! God is faithful. He’s showing up in this little bit of 3,428, and I’m confident that he’s going to keep showing up all the way through until the big 15,800 goal is met. Thank you, Lord!!

With that being said, I’m still doing the adopt the box (and will be until all the boxes are filled). 2020 is going to be FULL of fundraisers. Two upcoming fundraisers I’ll be doing are, selling T-shirts, and selling meal tickets for dinner plates. If you have any fundraiser ideas, feel free to message me, or leave a comment. Any help is very appreciated!
