Friends! Hola!

 Ministry update:

This past week the squad and I were able to physically serve as the hands and feet of Jesus in the coolest way. We had the honor of building a new home for a sweet Grandma and her 14-year-old grandson(who is also her caretaker).

It was overall a super sweet experience! Building it was physically difficult at times, but with it came lots of laughs, deep talks, growth, and fun memories! My favorite part? Handing the keys over to the new homeowner. As she cried with tears of gratitude and struggled to get across to us all just how thankful she was, I couldn’t help but smile. It’s simply God’s heart to provide for His children. I’m often left weepy at how kind He is. This home is such a physical representation of God’s heart laid out on display. We get to receive good gifts from Abba just because He’s a giver of good gifts…WHATTTTT! Thanks, God!!!!

Life Update:

It’s month 9 of the World Race and I have a total of 24 days remaining until I embark on my next journey with the Father. I have never loved life as much as I do right now. I look to the next season with so much holy anticipation but also am soaking in the goodness of life right now. I’ve been thinking a lot about how God is my home. He has become the cornerstone in which I build my life. With Him, I am forever home…That’s wild!

I read this passage from the book of Romans the other day and I wanted to share it with you all! This isn’t a blog post where I have many words and that’s okay. This week I have deeply been feasting on the living word of God and it has consistently left me speechless. It’s good to let scripture speak for itself sometimes so that’s what I’m going to let it do. Just read it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak directly to you through it.

31What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

35Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36(As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”37No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
38And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, Greek nor rulers. neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

 Romans 8:31-39(NLT)

You. Are. Loved.

His love is “home”.

  1. I really love this! “If God is for us who can be against us?” I think we all need to remember that more often
